About the role

Reporting to the Client Success Director, this role serves as a key link between our internal teams and our clients, ensuring accurate, timely and professionally formatted reporting that supports client decision‑making.

As a Reporting Specialist, you will work closely with the Client Success Director and client‑facing teams to understand reporting requirements, gather and extract data directly from our databases, and produce both scheduled and ad‑hoc reports. You will often be responsible for converting raw or queried data into agreed client‑specific formats, most commonly in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

What you’ll be getting up to

  • Work with the Client Success team to understand the reporting needs and expectations of individual clients.
  • Acting as a key technical reporting liaison between Vantify and client stakeholders.
  • Produce a wide range of planned (scheduled) and reactive (ad‑hoc) reports according to defined timelines.
  • Extract and manipulate data from internal databases, using scripts or direct queries where required.
  • Transform technical or raw data into clear, structured, client‑ready outputs in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and presentation quality in all reporting outputs.
  • Managing inbound data, such as client property lists.
  • Maintain version control and audit trails for all reports produced.
  • Communicate with internal teams, and where necessary clients, to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
  • Support improvements in reporting processes and templates, helping drive efficiency and standardisation.
  • Adhere to internal data security, confidentiality and quality management standards.

In order to excel in this role you need…

  • Strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience extracting, querying, and manipulating data from databases (e.g., SQL).
  • Ability to run and adapt basic scripts or data‑retrieval processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and translate client requirements into clear outputs.
  • A highly logical, process‑driven approach, with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all reporting.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in a reporting, data analysis, or administrative role with a strong technical component.
  • Experience working within Client Success, Account Management, or a client‑facing operational function.
  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, or software‑driven service environments.
  • Experience producing client‑branded or client‑specific formatted deliverables.

Our benefits

  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (£17,500 - £20,000 Pro rated)
  • Location: Remote
  • Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9-5:30pm
